A Legacy That Wears the Test of Time
Long before Barclays Enterprises became a name in apparel manufacturing, it was a vision born in the heart of a soldier.
In the early 20th century, amidst the roar of two World Wars, Mohammed Din served with the British Army. The battlefields were unforgiving, yet they taught him values that no peace could erase honor, resilience, discipline, and integrity. When the guns fell silent, he carried those values back home, determined to build something that would last beyond a lifetime.
In the 1960s, together with his son, Riasat Ali Chaudhry, he founded Barclays Enterprises. The company’s first official home was at 32/97, Khatikhan Street, Sialkot — a modest address that would become the starting point of a remarkable journey. From that small location, Barclays began as an import–export and manufacturing venture. But word spread quickly. Clients learned that with Barclays, a promise made was a promise kept. Every deal was sealed with trust, every shipment a testament to precision. What started in a small street in Sialkot became a name respected across borders.
By the 1990s, a new chapter unfolded when Muhammad Kashif Harrar joined the business. With fresh energy and a passion for innovation, he launched a sportswear division, bringing Barclays into the fast paced world of performance apparel. Under his leadership, the company not only adapted but thrived, producing high-quality sportswear that carried the same standards of excellence the family was known for.
Then, life took a different turn. After years of growth, Muhammad Kashif Harrar pursued a career as an attorney. The machines went quiet. The lights dimmed. And Barclays Enterprises entered a period of pause. But a true legacy never dies — it waits for the right hands to bring it back to life.
That moment came in the 2020s.
Mujazar Kashif (Jozy) — a young, award-winning entrepreneur recognized for the Young Entrepreneur Export Award and his achievements in Business Development & Creative Ideas — stepped forward to revive the family legacy. With over a decade of expertise in apparel manufacturing, sourcing, and global supply chains, he brought fresh energy and a forward thinking vision to the company.
By his side was his sister, Aramish Muqaddas, an accomplished fashion designer with in-depth knowledge of couture and high-fashion studio projects. Together, they merged tradition with innovation, heritage with creativity.
Today, Barclays Enterprises is more than just an apparel manufacturer. It is a story of courage carried across generations, of craftsmanship refined over decades, and of a family united by a shared mission: to create with honor, deliver with integrity, and build partnerships rooted in trust.
